However, the country has other beautiful places, to which, unfortunately, not everyone gets. These include the Una River, located in Western Bosnia. The picturesque nature surrounding it, as well as the cities and fortresses along the coast, can surprise even those who have seen many travelers.
Bosnia - the river Una
The Una River is one of the largest rivers in Bosnia and the tributary of the Sava River, which is considered to be one of the largest in the Balkans. Una captures two countries: it begins in Croatia, and then proceeds along the border of this state and Bosnia. The length of the river is very significant, it is 200 km.
There are other large rivers that are in the central part of this country - Bosna, Vrbas, Lasva. But, unlike Una, they are not very clean. Unu can rightfully be called a real gem, thanks to the amazingly clear clear water that flows through it.
The following cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina are located on the river: Bihać , Martin Brod, Kozarská Dubica, Bosanski Novi, Bosanska Krupa . They are of historical and architectural value and will be very interesting for tourist visits.

Natural attractions

- picturesque rapids of the river. Most of all the beauty of the threshold is called Strbachki beech;
- National Park Una. It appeared relatively recently, but it is already landscaped: it has roads and small wooden walkways;
- The river Una is famous for the large number of fish that it is found in. It has 28 species of fish, including representatives such as Danubian salmon and trout.

Entertainment for tourists
Attention of tourists who decided to visit this landmark can be offered such kinds of entertainment:
- the opportunity to admire the incredibly picturesque valley, the rapids of the river;
- To witness such an event as the international regatta, which takes place every year in the Unsk canyon;
- take part in rafting;
- visit the national park "Una";
- to make a trip on the so-called rotary train, on which you can tour the entire national park "Una". The railway is between the cliffs and the river, so that during the trip an incredibly beautiful view opens up.
