Moonlit manicure shellac

Lunar manicure along with French is one of the most popular types of nail coloring. In the classic moon manicure, the nail hole is left uncovered, forming a beautiful crescent moon, from where the name of this type of manicure came. In modern fashion, the design of the lunar manicure can be very different: the hole can be left unshaded, painted with a varnish of contrasting color, and the crescent itself can have various forms, depending on personal fantasy. The materials with which the manicure is performed can also differ. Recently, special popularity, due to its longevity, is acquired by the moon manicure shellac.

Lunar manicure with gel-varnish

Shellac is a special gel-lacquer made on the basis of biogel. Outwardly it looks like a varnish, is available in a very wide color palette and can be used for any kind of manicure. In this shellack is a gel, which after application is dried under an ultraviolet lamp. Such a nail coating is considered very practical, because shellac does not scrape, does not crumble or crumble, providing a beautiful and neat manicure for a long time. Although the coating itself can last for more than a month, it is usually recommended to update it on average every two and a half weeks. This is due to the fact that the nails grow, and an unpainted band appears at the edge. In case you prefer a traditional moon manicure, with an unpainted crescent moon in the hole, you can refresh the gel-varnish even less often, since the overall appearance and external design of the manicure while growing the nail is largely preserved.

In addition, because of its strength, coating with shellac creates additional protection for the nails, preventing their damage much better than the usual varnish.
