Museum of the Beyeler Foundation


One of the most popular and interesting places worth visiting in Switzerland is the Beyeler Museum, located in the suburbs of Basel, the town of Rien on the border with Germany. The collection of the Beyeler Museum from 230 works of classical modernism reflects the views of the founders on the contemporary art of the 20th century. In the gallery you can see such works as "Sept baigneurs" by Paul Cezanne, "La chambre jaune" by Marc Chagall, "Nymphéas" by Claude Monet, sculptures by Alberto Giacometti and many other contemporary artists and sculptors.

The museum also collected a large number of works by Pablo Picasso. In the collection of 26 objects of art of the peoples of Africa, Alaska and Oceania. 16 art objects of the peoples of Oceania and 9 - the peoples of Africa, are untouched by Western civilization, clinging to the sight of figures and masks.
