On this unique island in the world live savages, ready to kill everyone!

Mankind has always sought to explore unfamiliar lands, to learn new cultures. However, there is still an island in the world with a tribe, the traditions of which no one wants to know, and experienced travelers do not want to visit this forgotten island by God.

The northern Sentinel Island (an area of 72 km2) is one of the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal. It is forbidden to visit, because it is inhabited by people who are called non-contact. This island became the homeland of the hostile Sentinel tribe. It rejects any contact with the outside world and is aggressively opposed to all those who dare to approach their island. Sentineltsy hurl stones and shoot arrows at flying helicopters and planes over them, and also attack nearby sailing ships.

However, a visit to this place can be dangerous not only for curious travelers. The islanders are not protected from modern diseases, and therefore contact with civilization can destroy the whole tribe, which for decades studied groups of researchers, anthropologists.

It is interesting that this tribe was first discovered in the 1700s. And the time of origin of the Sentinelites is the Stone Age, in which, as observations show, this people still live.

Officially, the Sentinel Island is governed by the Indian government, but in reality the wayward Sentinelis are left to their own devices, as they did not sign any agreements on accession to any state and did not even discuss it.

Avoid landing on it, if you do not want to get into trouble. For example, two fishermen, lost here in 2006, were brutally murdered. When the Coast Guard helicopter tried to take their bodies, the islanders behaved so aggressively that the aircraft could not even be landed. Soon it became known that the tribe buried the bodies of innocent people.

The number of the tribe inhabiting the island, according to various estimates, ranges from 50 to 400 people. By the way, the island was discovered at the end of the 18th century, but its existence was forgotten for almost a century, and was remembered only in 1867, when an Indian merchant ship crashed in these waters.

Today it is the last island in the world, inhabited by primitive people. As for their appearance, the anthropologists refer them to the Negritos. The Sentinelians have swarthy skin, curly locks, and the height does not exceed 170 cm.

The first and, probably, the only friendly contact was made in 1991 by the scientist T.N. Pandit. But already in the late 1990s, the contact program was curtailed because of the hostility of the tribe.

After this expedition, no one dared visit the island.

It was officially recognized that the tribe is healthy and flourishing without the intervention of modern civilization.

By the way, Sentineltsy make arrowheads from metal and use it in many other handicrafts and tools.
