The open-air museum of Pleterje is located next to the Kartuzian monastery. This place allows tourists to learn about the life of Slovenes in the XIX century. Also here are samples of rural construction in Slovenia . The museum acquaints travelers with different aspects of Slovenian life, which is of interest to foreigners.

The tour of the museum includes a survey of many buildings, which demonstrate the technology of construction of different eras. How to get there?
You can get to the Platerje museum as part of the excursion or by car. To do this, you need to go to Route 418 and go south towards Senjernay, then move towards Smarje. From it to the museum is 1,5 km in the south-west direction.
