Salads-cocktails are made from the same ingredients as ordinary salads. The difference is only in the form of submission: salads-cocktails are laid in layers in special glass glasses (kremanki) and fill with dressing, decorate on top, make out. It looks quite impressive, especially from the side.
To the table salads-cocktails are served on a plate, necessarily covered with a napkin. In this case, the plate is not just a tray. We remove the napkin aside, shift the salad-cocktail into this very plate, mix it with a fork (left hand) and eat (with a fork and knife) - so it will be correct.
Shrimp - a product that perfectly suited for salad cocktails, they look particularly effective in the upper final layer. Of course, we will need some other products. Salads-cocktails - a dish for receptions, festive and romantic meals, so we will be especially careful with odorous ingredients - especially such as onions and garlic.
Cocktail salad with prawns, corn, avocado, sweet pepper and pineapple
Ingredients:
- shrimps are medium-small or small;
- canned corn;
- fruit of avocado;
- sweet red pepper;
- pineapple (can canned);
- lime;
- hot red pepper;
- garlic;
- classic unsweetened yogurt or sour cream;
- fresh herbs for decoration.
Preparation
Shrimp are usually sold by cooks, in any case, they have to be cooked or boiled and to separate the meat from the chitinous coating. We will postpone the prepared peeled prawns aside - they will be the last layer. Open the jar of corn and drain the dressing. Pineapple cut into pieces (or we will extract them from the jar during cooking with a spoon-noise). Sweet paprika is cut into very small straws (length not more than 1.5 cm). Carefully remove the avocado pulp and cut into small cubes - like cracklings, and drink lime juice in a separate bowl.
We arrange salad glasses and start laying out the layers, you can invent their order yourself, it's best to contrast them in color. For example, in this order:
- Pieces of pineapple;
- Bell pepper;
- corn;
- pieces of avocado;
- once again sweet pepper.
Now refueling. Lightly season yogurt or sour cream with chopped garlic and hot red pepper. We close, without regret, the top layer of the salad-cocktail dressing and from above beautifully and accurately lay out a few shrimp. We adorn the leaves with green leaves. To such a salad you can serve light wines or tequila, mescal, grappa, rakiyu, brandy, bourbon.
Salad cocktail "Sea" with shrimps and cucumbers
Ingredients:
- shrimps average;
- flesh of squid and / or pickled (light-salted) salmon, pink salmon or trout;
- cucumbers;
- onion green and other fresh herbs;
- lemon;
- yogurt classic unsweetened or thick cream, sour cream;
- nutmeg grated;
- a little strong light muscat wine (or vermouth).
Preparation
Prepare the shrimp (see the previous recipe above). Squid first scalded with boiling water, remove peel and cartilage, and then boil for 3 minutes. Cool and chop finely, so that it was convenient to eat. Cut small pieces of fish and cucumbers. Fish sprinkle with lemon juice and pickle in a separate bowl for at least 10 minutes. We chop the green onions.
Sequence Laying Layers:
- pieces of cucumber;
- pieces of fish;
- green onions;
- squid;
- another layer of cucumbers.
Now season yogurt or cream (sour cream) with nutmeg. It can be delicately seasoned with various kinds of pepper and other dry spices. Add a little wine for the taste and mix.
You can also include in the salad flesh of mussels and other marine molluscs, as well as sea kale - as separate layers.
Under such salad it is good to serve light wine, rice or other grain vodka or gin.
