But it happens that a large amount of work or a long trip creates some difficulties in the care. In particular, this concerns feeding. In this case, an excellent solution will be a car feeder for fish, made by own hands.
How to make an autocouple for an aquarium?
The process of making a self-feeder is very simple and does not take much time. For work we need the following materials:
- small analog clock with alarm;
- plastic transparent container;
- transparent plastic tube with a diameter of about 7-8mm.

- In a plastic container, make a hole a little smaller diameter than the diameter of the cabin, insert the tube. Then there is no need to additionally use glue.
- The drum does not need to be loaded completely. It is enough to fill it with two-thirds, then the pellets of food will not fall out all at once under their own weight. In addition, the clock hand can withstand a certain weight and it should be loaded experimentally gradually, and we will attach the container to it.

- The size of the hole in the tube of the self-feeder, made by yourself, will determine the number of pellets that will drop out at a time. The more it is, the more food will get into the aquarium.
- The autocook is ready for the aquarium with its own hands and now it can be safely applied in practice.
