Topiary, or the tree of happiness, has recently gained immense popularity. They are made from coffee beans, beads, various fabrics and threads, sweets and napkins. We decided to devote a master class to how to make a topiary made of felt with our own hands.
How to make a tree of happiness from felt - the way №1
We need:
- newspaper;
- cord;
- gauze;
- plastic tube;
- decorative braid;
- felt;
- scissors;
- glue gun;
- pins with multi-colored heads.
Getting Started
- The main part of our tree of happiness is the crown. For her, we dub a tight ball from the newspaper, wrap it around the cord and wrap it with gauze.
- From felt we cut flowers and leaves. Pre-produce the patterns: two circles of different diameters for the production of flowers, as well as a blank in the form of a quatrefoil.
- Blanks for flowers cut into a spiral.
- We will form flower buds from spirals and fix them with glue.

- acrylic paint;
- plastic flower pot;
- glue gun;
- scissors;
- small pebbles;
- rubber ball.
Getting Started
- We cover the rubber ball with acrylic paint gently green.
- We make patterns for details of a tree.
- Transfer the patterns to felt.
- We cut the circles in a spiral.
- We form flower buds and fix them with glue.
- We glue the buds to the leaves.
- We make out the crown of the tree.
- From the green felt we cut a circle around the diameter of the pot.
- We fix the circle at the base of the tree.
- Toning the pot with white acrylic paint.
- We fill the pot with a mixture of pebbles and glue.
- We install our topiary in the pot.
