Viral keratitis

Viral keratitis is an inflammation of the cornea that occurs as a result of the virus entering the eye. The ailment is manifested by redness, swelling and small rashes in the form of vesicles. Symptoms of viral keratitis

The disease manifests itself in two forms: primary and postperital herpes. The first option occurs when the body for some reason does not produce the appropriate antibodies. The second is more common. Pathology develops only after a certain number of antibodies are formed.

Clear signs of the primary form are the bubble rashes that appear on the lips, nose, eyelids and mucous membranes. There is corneal syndrome, which is expressed by a sharp reaction to light, lacrimation , opacity of the cornea to a dark color. This is accompanied by severe pain. From the conjunctival sac is a fluid with pus and mucus.

In the cornea is a large number of vessels, so the process captures the entire organ of vision. This leads to frequent exacerbations and relapses.

After the primary herpes of the eye mainly occurs as a result of weak immunity against this virus. The illness is expressed by a subacute current.
