Wontons are the most popular Chinese dish, very similar to our dumplings or manti. The main role in them is played by the filling: after all, the Chinese in the juicy pork add shrimp and bamboo. This combination of meat and seafood makes this dish truly unique and deliciously tasty, just melting in the mouth. How to prepare voontans? Everything is very simple. First you need to make a stuffing. To do this, take meat, finely chop it or twist it through a meat grinder. Prawns slightly boil in salted water, cool, clean and grind. Add sugar to the minced meat, grated ginger, green onions, salt, pepper to taste, sesame oil and shredded shrimp. To ensure that the stuffing is not dry, pour a little boiled water or broth. All carefully mix and set aside.

While the filling is insisted, we turn to preparing the dough for the boxes. To do this, take half a portion of flour, pour a few spoons of boiling water, and then gradually pour all the remaining flour, constantly interfering. We carefully knead an elastic soft dough from which we form a long sausage. Then cut off small pieces from it and roll it out. In the center, put a little cooked stuffing and patch the edges. Top leave open and put the shrimp.

We prepare the Chinese pots in a steamer for 15 minutes. Under each weft put a thin circle of carrots so they do not stick. If you do not have a steamer, you can fry them or just cook them.

So, before we start making sticks, let's brew broth on a weak fire. In a large saucepan pour three liters of water, put there washed and processed chicken ham. Bring to a boil, remove the foam, reduce heat, cover and cook for 40 minutes.

Next, rub on a small grater peeled ginger root, cut off the green onions white part, clean the garlic and lightly crush it. All this is thrown into broth, salt, pepper to taste and leave to cook, somewhere for 2 hours, at the lowest heat. While the broth is being prepared, it's time to start making vodons.

Strain the broth through a sieve and put it back on the fire. We add cooked dumplings to it, boil for a couple of minutes, pour the soup-soup on plates and serve it on the table, decorating with greens and chopped green onions on top.
