Apples are properly washed and cleaned from seeds and peel. We cut the apples into slices and send them to a saucepan and pour in hot water. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the plate and leave it under a lid to cool to a warm state. Then a little apple broth is drained, we plant yeast in it and leave for a quarter of an hour. When a frothy cap appears, we send the mass into a saucepan, add sugar and lemon juice. Thoroughly, everything is stirred and left for 15 hours for fermentation at room temperature. Ready kvass filter and clean in the cold.

Apple kvass - an old recipe

We chop the apples into pieces. Bones and tails are always removed. We boil water, we put apples on it and cook for about 5 minutes on a small fire. Add sugar and, stirring, cook a couple of minutes more on low heat until the sugar dissolves. The compote thus obtained is allowed to cool to room temperature, then add the yeast, stir well and cover with gauze. An hour and a half later, an acidic smell and foam will appear. This means that the kvass already wandered. After this, the drink should be infused at room temperature for 12 hours. Then filter it, pour it over the containers and set it in the cold. Hours through 7 the drink will be ready for filing.

Kvass from apple juice

Water boil and cool to a temperature of about 25-29 degrees. We pour in the juice, put sugar, coffee, yeast and mix. Cover the top with gauze leaves for 12 hours right in the room. Through a dense tissue, kvass is filtered, bottled and closed. We withstand in the cold hours 5, and then try.

Apples we sort out, eliminating the spoiled ones. Mine them, remove the stalk on the cut into 4 parts. We put them in an enameled container. Fill them with water so that apples are simply covered with it. Add sugar, lemon zest and a little juice. We leave the container for a few days for fermentation. Day after 3 apples squeeze well.
