Botox is a drug created on the basis of neurotoxin botulism, produced by microorganisms Clostridium botulinum. Botox is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly. This already indicates that the procedure is associated with certain risks and can not be shown to absolutely all patients. - an eye hernia (a hernia of the upper or lower eyelids);
- the descent of the upper eyelid;
- autoimmune neuromuscular diseases (myasthenia gravis, etc.);
- nearsightedness of severe degree;
- hemophilia;
- oncological diseases;
- propensity to form keloid and hypertrophic scars;
- hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Botox - contraindications after the procedure

- Visit the pool, sauna, baths, solarium and beach, taking hot tubs for two weeks after the procedure.
- Reception of antibiotics, analgesics and some other medicines, and also vaccination within 2 - 3 weeks after injections of Botox.
- Peeling within three weeks after the procedure.
- The use of a large amount of liquid, as well as sharp and salty foods for three to four days after the injection.
- Drinking alcoholic beverages within two weeks after the introduction of Botox.
