General Information on Casapuablo, Uruguay

Casapuiblu is on Punta Ballena, a small peninsula and resort that borders Chihuahua in the west and the beach of Playa Las Grutas in the east. At 13 km from the artist's house is located the southern Uruguayan city of Punta del Este . Casapuiblo is built of wood. The style of the dwelling is somewhat reminiscent of the appearance of houses on the Mediterranean coast of Santorini. Today it looks like a white castle hanging over a rock. The artist built it by his own efforts, and he built it for 36 years.
