Many of us with the word "cheburek" have associations with trays and street food, but few know that fried cakes with filling - a delicious traditional dish of Tatar cuisine. Fresh hot chebureks with cheese or any other stuffing is a real treat. And we will tell you how to prepare them.

How to cook chebureki with cheese?

In order to fry cakes, a deep frying pan or a cauldron (a saucepan) is best suited, because it will take a lot of oil to make chebureks with cheese. As a filling, it is not necessary to use one kind of cheese, you can take two or three. By the way, cheese, which is a bit worn, also suitable for ingredients. This is exactly how the chebureks recipe with cheese appeared - shepherds went to the mountains and took food for a few days, including cheese, from which they later prepared the filling for flat cakes. Preparation

To prepare the dough, we sift the flour, add sugar, salt and mix. Then we drive the egg, pour the water and knead it for about 10 minutes. The dough is covered with a napkin, let stand for about 20 minutes.

In the meantime, we are preparing a filling for chebureks with mushrooms and cheese. Mushrooms cut, fry in a dry frying pan and let it cool. Hard cheese rubbed on a large grater, onions finely chopped. Mushrooms, onions and cheese we combine, salt, pepper and mix. We divide the dough into small portions, roll each into a thin flat cake, lay out the filling in half, add the two halves and carefully patch the edges. Using a fork, we form the rim of the cheburek. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and fry our chebureks on both sides.

You can make chebureks with ham and cheese, if instead of mushrooms put a ham, cut into cubes.

Heat the oil in a frying pan or cauldron and fry each cheburek with cheese and herbs from two sides to a golden color.
