Circus (Stockholm)

The first building of the circus was built in 1830 by the French circus owner Didier Gaultier. In 1869, he sold his case to Adelie Hooke, later the whole building was burned down.

The Stockholm Circus was formerly known as the Circus Theater. Its opening took place on May 25, 1892 on the entertainment island of Djurgården. The auditorium is designed for 1650 visitors, and rarely when there were empty seats. The building is very good acoustics.
