There are places that have long become the calling card of a particular city or country. Intentionally ignore them is impossible, and there is no special desire, as a rule. In fact, these are quotations from the works of the Swedish writer Johan August Strindberg, who once lived at this address. Now there is a museum open in his honor.

In 2010, there were two explosions, and in 2017 a truck with an attacker at the wheel drove into a crowd of pedestrians.
