Drug treatment of duodenitis

Of course, only a gastroenterologist can choose a suitable therapy scheme in accordance with the peculiarities of the organism. The most popular drugs for the treatment of duodenitis are anticholinergic medications, antispasmodics. In combination with a health-improving diet, means of enveloping and astringent action are prescribed. With severe symptoms of the acute form of the disease, the stomach is washed with a solution of potassium permanganate of low concentration. Purification of the intestine is carried out with the help of magnesium sulfate.

Atrophic secondary duodenitis requires similar treatment, but longer, as it can develop into a chronic form. It is very important to adhere to the appointment of a doctor in relation to the diet. The first 10-14 days after diagnosis is necessary to observe a sparing diet, which includes mucous liquid dishes (rice, semolina, oat soup), jelly, porridge. It is advisable to use more liquid, in particular - herbal tea, thick sweet juices. Exclude from the daily diet you need any fried, fatty, sharp, salty foods, baked goods, fresh vegetables. It is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol. After the first stage of the diet, you can add steam cutlets from low-fat meat, fish or poultry, and dried soups to the menu.

With the joint treatment of duodenitis with folk remedies and medications, as well as prolonged abstinence from prohibited foods, one can achieve full recovery and restore intestinal function.
