Preparation

How to make an Easter wreath with your own hands? Milk warms a little and dissolves in it dry yeast. Then pour half of the flour, mix, cover with a towel and put it for 30 minutes in a warm place. Our opara should increase approximately twice. And we are separating proteins from yolks by this time. Yolks are rubbed with sugar, whites are beaten with salt until a lush foam is formed. In the approaching spit, slowly infuse the yolks and mix. Next we put the melted butter. Then add the proteins and again thoroughly mix. At the end, gradually pour the remaining flour and knead the dough. Cover it with a towel and again put in a warm place for about an hour.

When the dough rises, we mix it again and let it rise again. This time we chop nuts and candied fruits. The dough is divided into 3 parts, rolling each one in a strip of 10 to 50 cm. On one top we spread the nuts and wrap it in a roll, well tearing the edges. We make the same tube with raisins and candied fruits. From the resulting rolls we will braid the pigtail and form a wreath.

We spread it on a greased baking sheet, put a refractory mold in the middle, and make small indentations for eggs at the top of the wreath. Bake for 40 minutes at 180 ° C. That's all. A wonderful and unusual decoration of the festive table is ready.
