Flower murai - how to care?

Anyone can grow an exotic flower of the citrus family, if he knows how to take care of this beautiful plant. Europeans got acquainted with it not so long ago, although in Asia it was known even 400 years ago. The beautiful greenery of leathery leaves, the fragrance of jasmine and simple care quickly made this flower one of the most loved by indoor florists.

Landing of the Murai

Care and maintenance of the muraia are simple, if you know some of the subtleties. For example, plant cuttings should be only in autumn, cutting off and from the bush, age not less than a year. Putting twigs in the water, after a couple of weeks you can get a strong root system, ready for transplanting into the ground.

The land for planting can be borrowed from succulents - that's what will suit them for acidity. In addition to the vegetative method of obtaining plants, they multiply and seeds. To carry out this is quite simple, because the inoculum has good germination.

The care of the plant includes the annual transplantation of muraia into a large capacity. This should be done in the first 3-4 years, and after enough it will only change the upper layer of the soil. The root system of the flower is very tender, and therefore it will require transshipment, which does not expose the rootlets.

Watering and lighting

The flower of the muraia is suitable for cultivation even by beginner growers, because it practically does not require care. It is enough to place a pot with a plant on the east or west window to provide it with diffused lighting. In the summer months, when the sun becomes brighter, the flower should be moved slightly further from the window, but not into the shade. If the murai is not enough light, it will respond with yellowing and falling leaves.

Watering a flower, like all tropical plants need a very abundant in the spring and summer, gradually reducing watering by the fall. Do not forget about spraying. In winter, you need to be careful not to provoke an excess of moisture and decay.

As you can see, the room flowers of the muraia do not require any special care - everything is quite simple. In summer, the plant tolerates any heat without problems, and in winter it will be enough for good growth if the temperature on the windowsill does not exceed 18 ° С.
