Coniferous extract

Who does not like the scent of a pine forest? To enjoy it, you do not have to go out of town, because at home you can prepare a coniferous extract - a drug produced by their spruce or pine branches by infusion in boiling water or alcohol. Let's consider more in detail medicinal properties and ways of application of a pine extract.

Effect of the drug

Biologically active substances contained in needles easily penetrate the skin, clearing it of pathogenic microorganisms, healing microcircums and making it velvety. Softness and elasticity of the skin give amino acids and polysaccharides, which restore lipid, protein and carbohydrate metabolism.

Liquid coniferous extract contains flavonoids, which have a strengthening effect on the walls of capillaries and vessels. Phytoncides, isolated by needles of pine and spruce when infused, are antibiotics of natural origin, and therefore are effective in inflammation of the mucous membranes.

The most useful coniferous extract for baths during the epidemic of influenza and other ARVI, as well as for people suffering from violations of the functions of the cardiovascular system.

Procedures using needles soothe the nervous system, improve sleep, help fight stress, increase the body's resistance to unfavorable environmental factors. Natural coniferous extract is useful not only for adults, but also for children.

Coniferous extract for hair

Long ago, women rinsed their hair after washing with a decoction of needles and cones: this remedy allows to strengthen bulbs and prevent dandruff.

To combat hair loss it is useful to use a decoction of juniper, which is prepared from 2 tbsp. spoons of shoots, needles or berries:

  1. Raw materials are ground in a coffee grinder or a meat grinder.
  2. Then pour 400 ml of boiling water.
  3. The cooled off preparation should be rubbed into the scalp daily for a month and a half.

Compresses are very useful because of the needles of acacia with acne: warm lotions are applied to the face and hold for about 20 minutes.

Foot baths

Coniferous extract helps with calluses and quickly removes tired legs:

  1. For the procedure take 3 liters of warm water.
  2. In the pelvis add 2 tablespoons of extract from needles of pine, spruce or juniper, as well as 3 tablespoons of normal salt and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
  3. In the treatment bath, the legs are kept for about 15 minutes.

Large callous growths help to remove such a compress:

  1. Coniferous extract is heated to 45 ° C.
  2. The napkin in it is kept in a sore spot for 20 minutes.
  3. Then repeat the lotion 1-2 times.

The course of treatment, as a rule, is 20 sessions every other day.

Preparation of pine extract

It is best to prepare the drug in the country, where there is access to a large number of needles. It is filled with a bucket, poured with boiling water and allowed to stand for 6 hours.

However, in a small amount of coniferous extract it is permissible to cook in a saucepan of medium size. In this case, you need a large branch of pine or spruce with cones. Cook the remedy for 40 minutes.

For the winter it is appropriate to prepare an alcoholic tincture:

  1. Three-liter jar filled with needles to the top.
  2. Pour vodka or medical ethyl alcohol.

For 200 liters of water in a bath put 0.5 liters of this drug.

For the preparation of pine extract not only fresh branches are suitable, but also dried needles:

  1. They are laid out for 10 days in a dark and dry place.
  2. Then collect and store in rag bags.

From such raw materials it is possible to make a fragrant broth for a bath at any time of the year.

In pharmacies sold sea salt with pine extract, as well as the drug in its final form. It should be noted that it is not worth taking very hot baths with a pine or spruce extract - the water should be pleasant temperature: only such procedures have a strengthening and soothing effect.
