This drug is sold in the form of a white starch-like powder, so before using it it is necessary to dilute:
- for spraying plants and watering the soil - 1 g in 1 liter of water;
- to handle point wounds - to make a thick slurry and smear it;
- for pickling bulbs and seeds - 10 g in 2 liters of water.
It is necessary to dilute so much solution of foundation that it was enough to cover completely the entire plant. When the liquid dries, the leaves will show a white coating, which is recommended to wash off only after a day.
Precautions when working with a foundation:
- To process plants it is possible not more than two times for a season, differently there will be an accustoming;
- wear personal protective equipment (glasses, gloves, respirator), and after finishing work - wash everything with soap and rinse your mouth;
- do not smoke, drink or eat.
It is very difficult to buy foundation, as it was removed from production, after it was proved in 2001 that its use provokes the reproduction of fungicide-resistant fungal diseases. Therefore now it is very often found that under the name of foundation stone they sell fake - ordinary chalk.
