From time immemorial, a man at the subconscious level tried to surround himself and his house with symbols that would bring happiness and at the same time protect. One of these magic symbols is the horseshoe. But today it's not necessary to get a real piece of iron, because the horseshoe made of chocolates is an excellent alternative! And as an original gift, it will always be appropriate, and not only in the year of the Blue Horse.
To make a bouquet of chocolates in the form of a horseshoe, described below in our master class, many materials and tools will not be needed. Is there a desire to please a loved one with an unusual souvenir? Then let's get started!
We will need:
- cardboard;
- corrugated board (4-7 mm thick);
- braid;
- glue;
- double sided tape;
- wrapping or metallized paper;
- candy-coins.
- Draw a horseshoe figure on a regular piece of paper. You can also use the ready-printed template. Cut out the horseshoe, attach the piece onto the cardboard, circle and cut. Such details will need two. Similarly, make two parts from corrugated cardboard. In total, you will get four figures of a horseshoe.
- Next, cut two horseshoes from wrapping or metallized paper using the same paper pattern.
- Proceed to the assembly of the horseshoe. To do this, use a glue gun to connect two pieces of corrugated cardboard. Then glue the cardboard parts from the front and back sides. When the article is thoroughly dried, you can begin to glue the details of the wrapping paper. Wait for the glue to dry out, and decorate the joints with braid. If the width of the tape does not allow you to hide all the slices, cut out the strips of the corresponding width from the wrapping paper and glue them first.

- It was time to decorate the horseshoe with sweets. Before you make a horseshoe from sweets, arrange them on the surface of the craft, so that the distance between them is the same. Only after this, you can attach coins to the horseshoe with a double-sided tape. Use for this purpose, an adhesive gun is not recommended, because under the influence of high temperature chocolate will melt.
- The horseshoe is made of chocolates, but the souvenir can be made even more attractive. Install it on a stand from a box wrapped in beautiful paper. Around the crafts spread out the candy, the wrappers of which are in harmony with the overall color scheme.
