A bandage on the head will make any image more romantic . To sew a bandage is not necessary to be a professional seamstress, it is enough to have the initial sewing skills. I offer a master class where I will show how to sew a bandage on my head with beautiful flowers.
Headband with flowers
For this we need:
- the basic fabric;
- Chiffon fabric or any other light fabric;
- for contrast, you can pick up one or more types of tissue (you can cut off);
- scissors;
- thread;
- elastic;
- a button or beads.
Performance:
- Cut the strip of the main fabric 48 cm long and 3.5 cm wide. Cut to a width of 2 cm at the ends. Cut another strip of chiffon fabric twice as long and twice as wide.
- Now attach two strips of fabric to each other and fasten in the middle with a needle. Then attach the chiffon fabric to the thread, making it the same length with the base. Fix the end with a needle. Through the entire length podkolite stripes with needles, making sure that the chiffon waves were the most equal. Sew on both sides.
- That's how it should turn out
- Now cut off excess chiffon fabric.
- From the main fabric, cut out 4 rounded squares 4 cm wide, from chiffon 7, from contrast - 3.
- Take the square from the chiffon and fold it four times. Clamp at the base and sew to the bandage below the middle. Take the second square and sew side by side in one row. And so the remaining squares - 2 of chiffon, 1 of the main fabric. Periodically add squares from contrasting tissues. At the end, when there are two squares of chiffon left, one square of the main fabric and one of contrast, start sewing in the opposite direction.
- Now open one of the flowers and fix them with threads. In the middle, sew a button or beads.
- Now take the rubber band, attach to the bandage, bend the fabric and suture. Tie a rubber band and sew it too.
- Our bandage is ready.
