If a person is a picture, then the eyebrow is a frame, and there are no trifles in the creation of it. Beauty salons offer several different types of correction: ladies with pale or rare eyebrows can resort to painting or permanent make-up (good masters put it really jewelry). But today we will talk about how to shape the eyebrows at home.
What is needed?
When starting to correct eyebrows, you need to arm yourself with a large mirror, in which you can see the whole face (otherwise how to monitor symmetry?). Also need tweezers:
- one with pointed tips for the main job;
- others - with flat for the treatment of the nose bridge.

What shape should I give my eyebrows?
Before the beginning of the correction, you need to carefully consider the person in the mirror and understand which form of eyebrows approaches more to its outline. For example, chubby ladies stylists recommend eyebrows, the line of which is slightly elevated, and at the ends - rounded. The elongated eyebrows are suitable for the square person, the oval is arch-shaped. If the face seems too elongated and you want to visually reduce it, it will be nice to give the eyebrows a straight shape, as close as possible to the horizontal line.
Three main points
The most difficult stage of correction is the definition of the beginning, end and place of bending of the eyebrow. This will require a pencil.
Apply it to the wing of the nose vertically. The beginning of the eyebrow is at the point through which the pencil passes (that is, strictly along the line passing through the widest part of the nose).
The end of the eyebrow is defined similarly: the imaginary line (again we help ourselves with a pencil) is drawn through two points - the wing of the nose and the outer corner of the eye.
Another important step that takes place before giving the eyebrows a beautiful shape is searching for the point of greatest bending. We draw a line all from the same point (the wing of the nose) and the outer edge of the iris when viewed strictly ahead. In the place where the pencil touches the eyebrow, there will be a kink.
It is appropriate to mark the found points with a white cosmetic pencil, and even better - to depict the ideal contour of the future eyebrow and to pull out all the hairs that have gone beyond it.
Step-by-step instruction
And now consider a step-by-step scheme of how to properly shape the eyebrows.
At the preparation stage, we wipe the skin and tools with a disinfectant, loosen the hair with a special comb or wash it with a brush from under the carcass. Further:
- We determine the beginning of the eyebrow, and we pull out all the hairs that grow beyond this point towards the bridge of the nose. .
- Determine the end of the eyebrow, and remove the hairs located beyond this point. If the natural length is not enough, you can shape the eyebrows with a pencil, as though finishing it while applying makeup.
- We narrow an eyebrow, pulling out extra hairs from below. In this case, the lower arch should be parallel to the upper border of the eyebrow. Do not make the eyebrows too thin - the natural width looks most beautiful.
- Starting from the point of greatest bending (we have already learned how to find it), the eyebrow begins to thin out. Remove excess hairs from below.
After the correction is completed, the skin should be treated again with an antiseptic and a soothing cream applied.
Important little things
To give the eyebrows an ideal symmetrical shape, as a rule, is very difficult. The human body is asymmetric in nature - it concerns both the body and the face. Because even the growth of hairs on the right and left eyebrows can be different. Be prepared for the fact that the self-correction will not be perfect. Remove one hair on one side and then on the other side, so that the outline is the same. If you first pull out one eyebrow, and then proceed to another - there is a great risk of "not getting out" on the right form.
