Moth Farm


The Czech village of Žirovica near the town of Františkovy Lázně is famous for its moth farm, where representatives of this insect species from all over the world are gathered. How to get there?

The moth farm is 2 km from the town of Frantiskovy Lazne , and the easiest way to get there by taxi. Tourists travel from Prague by train or bus. Direct trains run every 2 hours, and once a day here goes the high-speed train Pendolino, where you can get to this part of the Czech Republic in just 2.5 hours.
