How to make a palm of beads: a master class

One palm tree will need:

• about 30 m of wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm;
• 2 m of copper wire with a diameter of about 1 mm;
• beads light green and honey hue;
• brown thread for the trunk;
• matches and a piece of plastic (for melting).

To get a fluffy palm from beads, we will make it from three tiers with leaves of different lengths.

• 1st tier: 6-7 leaves consisting of 6 pairs of needles;
• 2 nd and 3 rd tiers: we use 10-12 leaves, alternating leaves of medium (8 pairs) and full length (10 pairs).

On one large sheet leaves 90 cm of wire, on the middle - 80 cm, for a short one - about 70 cm.

To decorate all the palms still need a stand and clay.

Palma from beads: scheme of weaving of leaves

1. On the wire we type 7 green and 2 honey beads, we leave one and we pass back the wire through 8 beads, we get a needle - the top of the leaf.
2. In this way, we rub the following 2 needles to the right and to the left, we take only 5 green beads.
3. Twist the wire two or three times and insert 1 green bead.
4. Repeating steps 2 and 3, make the right amount of needles on the wire.
5. Twist the wire 10 times, and on the resulting leg, we dress 10 green beads.
6. To make the leaf form the first 2-3 pairs of needles from the end of the leaf are bent to the middle needle.
7. We put the sheet on the finger and bend the needles according to the shape of the finger.
8. We perform the required number of leaves.

Palma beaded: assembly

1. We cut a thick wire into five pieces of 40 cm in length and cut the rods tightly with a thread from one end.
2. In the melted plastic, dip the tip of the trunk so that it does not become sharp.
3. We arrange the leaves of the first tier around the trunk and fix it with a thread.
4. To cover the hole in the middle, we wind between the leaves crosswise with a layer of thread.
5. Pull and straighten the fallen leaves.
6. Strongly and neatly wind the thread on the trunk, sinking to 3 cm.
7. We retreat from the first tier by 8-10 mm and, alternating leaves of different length, we tie up the 2nd tier.
8. Retreating another 10-12 mm, we tie the third tier of sheets.
9. We wrap the barrel well with threads until the end and give it a shape.
10. To give the palm leaves a beautiful shape, press all the leaves near the legs up, and then gently pull them down the ends down.
11. We fasten the palm to the support with plasticine.

Such palm beads made by hand, will be an excellent souvenir for friends or just an interesting addition to the interior of your room.
