American pancakes on kefir
Ingredients:
- wheat flour - 1 item;
- chicken egg - 1 piece;
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon;
- salt - a pinch;
- olive oil - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- granulated sugar - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- soda - 0,5 tsp.
- kefir - 200 ml.
Preparation
Now tell you how to prepare classic punkakes on kefir. So, first mix all the dry ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda. We mix everything thoroughly so that all of the soda is dispersed evenly. Now in a separate bowl we combine liquid ingredients: chicken egg, kefir and olive oil. Then gently pour the liquid mixture into a dry one, and quickly mix everything. The most important thing here is not to mix too much, it is from this that the puffiness and airiness of punk cars depends! Do not worry if there are lumps in the test, they will be distributed in the pan by themselves! Dough as a result should have a very thick consistency, reminiscent of fatty sour cream.
Now we heat a large frying pan and smear it with oil. Spread the dough with a large spoon in small portions. Fry the pancakes on both sides until a ruddy and porous crust forms with the lid open. We serve aromatic pancakes with hot, like Russian pancakes, with jam, butter, cottage cheese or sour cream. But wrap in them, the filling, alas, will not work: for this they are too lush.
The recipe for curd cheese pancakes on yogurt
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 200 g;
- chicken egg - 1 piece;
- kefir - 200 ml;
- wheat flour - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- soda - pinch;
- salt - to taste;
- greens of dill, parsley, onions - if desired.
Preparation
In a bowl, pour kefir, add cottage cheese, put salt, pepper to taste and whisk in a blender for about 3 minutes until a homogeneous mass is formed. You can simply mix everything with a whisk or a fork. Then add the egg and mix. Then gradually add flour, soda and knead the dough to a consistency similar to thick sour cream. Leave the mass to stand for about 10-15 minutes, and then fry pancakes in vegetable oil, in a heated frying pan, spreading them with a tablespoon.
