TV stand with own hands

Everyone who knows how to make tends not only to save money, but also to decorate his house or apartment in a special way. You can make the cabinet with your own hands in such a way that it will come out better than the purchased one - unique and very reliable. To that, it will fit the necessary dimensions.

How to make a TV cabinet?

  1. First, on a clean sheet of paper, we draw and cut out the template of the future table-top for the curbstone.
  2. On the contours of Whatman we make a template from the old chipboard, which is necessary for making three basic parts (bottom, middle and top shelf).
  3. We cut and cut the same brusochki for oak shields.
  4. We glue them with clamps into the shields.
  5. Glued shields are processed (if possible, use the industrial thicknesser) and cut at an angle of 45 degrees. With the help of an electric jigsaw and a template from the received wooden boards we cut out the workpieces. We leave allowances 2-3 mm for further processing.
  6. The resulting blanks are processed with a special cutter. To do this, the workpiece together with the template is fixed with clamps.
  7. Then we cut the ends.
  8. The pedestal supports, like the main ones, are cut out according to the template. We attach the finished parts to the bottom shelf. Self-tapping screws, after drying glue, serve as clamps and do not spoil the overall appearance of the product.
  9. We process all the details with stain.
  10. Our pedestal with its own hands will have beautiful doors. For this, we prepare long and short bars that are milled along the entire length. When assembling parts, a frame is obtained. The ends of the transverse parts are smeared with glue, the excess of which, when compressed with clamps, is squeezed out. While the glue is not frozen, we remove it with an important rag.
  11. The edges of the frame are machined with a milling cutter, covered with stain and varnish.
  12. After this, the creative process begins - the production of decorative elements for the doors of the cabinet . We will have an autumn landscape - dangling branches of trees and falling leaves. Decorative elements are cut from a thin oak board, an imitation birch bark is made with an ordinary cutter. We cover them with stain and varnish.
  13. After drying, glue the decorative elements with epoxy resin on the glass. Handles for doors can be made by yourself or purchased ready-made.
  14. The walls of the curbstone will be from the LDPS. On the one hand, we cut the ends at an angle of 45 degrees.
  15. Mark out and drill blind holes under the shelf holders. The walls of the lower part of the structure are fixed with the help of a company, and the top with eccentric ties, hidden by blind caps.
  16. After that, install the corner shelves . The table-drawer is ready with your own hands!
