How to make a house of cardboard?

A little girl dreams of becoming a mother since childhood, so she loves and cares about her baby dolls. It's so touching to observe how a mini-woman wraps a puppet in a blanket, cradles and feeds from a spoon. By the age of six or seven, girls prefer role-playing games. Their dolls "grow up" in princesses, queens and fairies, get married, make parties. And they need to live somewhere! In shops where children sell goods for children, the choice of doll houses is huge. Of plastic, wood, cardboard - for every taste, but they are quite expensive. If you have free time, the desire to please your daughter and fantasy, then you will make a dollhouse from a cardboard box in just a few hours. And the costs will be minimal. To create a cardboard house for dolls, you can also attract a child - some steps can be carried out by a five-year-old baby.

The doll house, except for gaming purposes, will serve as an excellent place for storing small toys that are usually scattered underfoot. Your little mistress will quickly learn how to make order in the house.

So, how to make a house of cardboard and what should be cooked for this?

We will need:

1. We make a drawing of a cardboard house, to be exact, of its two floors (it is possible to make three floors, but the cardboard must be very dense). The layout of floors can be done and different. It all depends on the flight of your imagination. Billet for the second floor from the bottom should be pasted with white paper - this will be the ceiling of the first floor.

2. Now the scheme of the cardboard house must be supplemented with grooves-guides. Their glue on the "ceiling" of the second floor along the lines drawn by future walls. Then proceed to gluing the partitions of the second floor.

3. In our house the height of the partitions of both floors is the same. It is possible on the second floor, where it is more convenient to play, to make the partitions higher. First glue the central "support" wall, and then the side walls, gluing the side joints and the bottom. For convenience, you can put a few books on top, so as not to hold the walls with your hands.

4. Now glue the cornice, the platbands and decorate the walls with "wallpaper". This can be done even before the walls are assembled.

5. We connect two floors in one small house from a cardboard box, putting walls on grooves (at the left - drawing of a ladder).

6. We have a demountable staircase, made without glue. Just insert the steps into the slot-grooves and fasten between the first and second floors.

7. That the house could be deployed in any direction, you can use a special stand. You can do it yourself if you want. A house for princesses or a family of little animals is ready!

Such a cardboard house is very useful for a family where there are two children. The floors can be disconnected if desired, that is, each child will play with his part of the house. Furniture in the doll house can be done on the same principle, only the cardboard should be of medium density. Do not forget that the child must take part in the creation of this mini-masterpiece. He, for example, can be entrusted with the wallpapering. And it's okay if somewhere the colored paper is glued unevenly or dirty with glue - this is fixable. If there are cuts of thin colorful fabric, try decorating the walls with textile "wallpaper". This house will look even more beautiful.
