For example, a large white string bean "Chali" is very good for cooking second courses as a side dish. The seeds are very large and the consistency is rather dense, which is excellent for cooking and further frying. This variety is distinguished by a large amount of calcium and perfectly lowers the sugar level.

The small white bean "Black Eye" has a characteristic black point and is fast-cooking, it has a very thin skin. It is important to note that even after the sowing, this variety manages to save up to 70% of useful substances. Very good effect on the cardiovascular system.

Fine white beans "Navi" is pea beans and perfectly replenishes the body's need for fiber. Due to the increased content of iron has a beneficial effect on the circulatory system.

Peculiarities of growing white beans

Regardless of the selected white beans , you will have to try a little, in order to grow a good harvest. So, let's look at a list of basic rules that you'll have to follow in order to grow beans:

  1. Let's start by choosing a landing site. It should not be clay soils. The fact is that overmoistening for a given culture will be fatal. Ideally, these are fertile and light soils. Try to pick up the most suitable conditions for the beans and it will thank you: being a ciderat, it will fill the soil with nitrogen and next season there will be excellent conditions for other crops.
  2. Then we prepare the planting material. Without regrets we reject all seeds with the slightest hint of damage. Soak good seeds in the water at night. For five to ten minutes before planting again soak them, but this time in a solution of boric acid. This approach will help the seed to penetrate faster and pests will not be scary.
  3. Virtually all varieties of white beans grow very well along the fence or a small support. Along this support, about 5 cm, we stick seeds, between plantings about 15 cm.
  4. If in your region there is a danger of frosts or sharp drops in temperature, then you will have to cover for the night time of landing.
  5. In order for the harvest to please you with abundance and quality, four golden rules should be followed: loosening, watering, feeding and pest control. Even after the appearance of the first shoots, you will have to gradually loosen the soil. Make sure that the land between the plantings does not shove, otherwise the bean will be shallow, and the harvest will be scarce.
  6. About four weeks after amicable shoots we begin to feed. For these purposes, complex fertilizers are quite suitable, preferably with an increased nitrogen content. Further three more weeks and we feed already for formation of fruits: this time we bring in more magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.
  7. White beans, although they do not like waterlogging, but it needs a lot of water. It is especially important to water it in time during the formation of pods. Make sure that the soil is constantly moist, but the water does not stagnate.
  8. In general, pest attacks are relatively rare, but for some regions this is not true. Usually it's slugs. This is the result of excessive watering, untimely removal of weeds and loosening of the soil.

As you can see, it is not so difficult to grow a good crop if you follow all the rules listed.
