Annual lavatera - planting and care

How many of those who do not like to mess around in the garden, but wants to surround themselves with beautiful plants. Unfortunately, we do not always have enough time to grow flower crops. And that's why we recommend you read the rules of planting and caring for such a colorful one-year-old lavatera.

Flowers lavatera - planting and care

To plant lavas in the open ground choose a sunny place with loose soil. The fact is that in the semi-shaded areas the flower stretches and blooms weakly. Seeds of culture, by the way, do not require any preliminary treatment - soaking or stratification. They are placed from each other in 15 cm in prepared and wetted furrows 1-1.5 cm deep. The furrows themselves are placed at a distance of 15-30 cm. After planting, the furrows are covered with earth and slightly trampled.

In regions in the cold spring, seedlings are grown by seedlings at home. You can use garden cassettes or cups with peat-sand soil, where one seed is placed. Transplant to a permanent place is made when the soil is warmed up to +15 degrees.

Care of the lavatera

So, care of the lavatera is not noticeable. To timely watering, top dressing in early spring or during budding, the plant will respond with colorful flowering. If possible, weed and loosen the soil. And, of course, do not forget about trimming the faded buds, which will stimulate the emergence of new ones.

Creating a bright flower bed or curb on the site, take on a plant with which the lava is perfectly combined. These are cultures in which buds with white or purple petals, for example, delphinium , lance, petunia, sage or iris.

Thus, it does not matter what kind of lava you plant at your place - an annual or perennial. The main thing is that the lawn in any case will look impressive from July to October.
