Form and size of bactericidal plaster

The bactericidal plaster is most often produced on an elastic fabric basis (specially treated cotton cloth). In addition, viscose, polyurethane, and flexible polymers can be used as the basis for the patch. For a hypoallergenic patch, a non-woven (cellulose) base is most often used. For better fixation, the base can be perforated.

The sizes of bactericidal patches can be very different. The greatest demand is for thin strips (7,2x1,9 cm, 7,6x2,5 cm) flesh colored, which are perfect for sealing cuts, abrasions, cracks on the heels, abrasions on the toes. The ends of these rectangles are often rounded, for a more secure fixation. Plasters are sold either individually, or in a package of several pieces of different sizes.

Also on sale are bactericidal patches of large sizes (6x10, 6x9, 10x9), which can be used as surgical dressings for extensive skin lesions or for the protection of wounds after treatment.

Bactericidal plaster Veropharm with greenery

The composition of antiseptic impregnation includes furatsilin, sintomycin and brilliant green . Due to the latter, the tissue pad has a characteristic green hue. The antiseptic properties of the patch are evaluated rather high, but due to the fact that the antiseptic pad on the edges is not protected by a textile base, it is not always convenient. Can leave green spots on the skin.
