Breast in early pregnancy

Breasts are practically the first organ that undergoes changes when pregnancy occurs. Even when the pregnancy test is not yet able to show something, the breast is beginning to change and to notify the woman about the onset of the long-awaited miracle.

How to determine the pregnancy by pregnancy?

At the earliest stages of pregnancy, the breast receives a signal from the hormonal system that it is time for it to prepare for an early lactation period. And the breasts immediately begin the process of preparation.

How is it shown? Among the visible and tangible changes are the tenderness and sensitivity of the mammary glands, the increase in the parasol areola, their darkening. The breast at the beginning of pregnancy hurts approximately the same as it hurted and poured before the menstrual period. And so you can first take these feelings as a sign of approaching menstruation. But the enlarged and darkened nipples are already a sure sign of pregnancy.

Among other signs of pregnancy in the first weeks - the breast changes in size and slightly changes shape. This is due to the expansion of interprotocol spaces. For the same reason, the breast becomes more elastic to the touch.

Breast weight will also change - it weighs about 150-200 g for nulliparous women, and 300-900 g for those giving birth. During breastfeeding, the breast can grow larger, so be prepared for it. As well as to the fact that after the end of the lactation period it will again decrease in size, so to speak - will be blown away. And this can lead to stretch marks on the chest and sinews.

To prevent this, you need to take good care of her throughout pregnancy. Contrast shower, special cream from stretch marks, properly selected underwear - all this is a guarantee that your breasts will remain beautiful and attractive after the end of feeding.

Approximately at the end of the first trimester, that is, at the 12th week of pregnancy, the colostrum begins to discharge from the breast in pregnant women - a yellowish liquid, reminiscent of milk, but more transparent and watery. After delivery, it will turn into full-fledged milk for about 3-5 days. Of course, the appearance of colostrum does not always happen - some women do not detect it at home until the birth. And this is also a variant of the norm.

In the same period, chest pain will decrease or even pass . But it can come back in the third trimester - do not worry if it happened. The organism understands that soon that lactation period will come and be more actively prepared for it.
