British cat - description of the breed, character

The British are very compliant and obedient, they are easy enough to train. You will not have difficulties with how to accustom your pet to the tray. Kittens, looking at my mother, copy her behavior, that is, practically they themselves get used to cleaning up after themselves. The character is quite strict, but adapts to any person. A feature of the British breed of cats is the ability to memorize about 50 indications and simple words, which greatly simplifies communication with people. Do not accustom to excessive tenderness, it can make it spoiled, but do not forget to pay attention to the pet.

Many believe that the British are great for business people. It's not just a luxurious appearance, but also the ability to wait patiently for the owner. They will not suffer from loneliness, tearing the sofas with claws, while there are only houses, but on returning the person home they will require attention in the form of a conversation or a game. Do not impose your desire on the cat, do not stroke it if it does not want it.

Sociability, friendliness, not conflict, as with other pets, and with people - the characteristic features of the breed. Adult individuals more often observe the distance, little children are very playful. Another advantage is their ability to feel the mood of others. During training they are quite stubborn, nevertheless, they quickly learn what they want from them. At the age of 2-4 months resemble hurricanes. They are active on the street, they will try to catch game. Being in an apartment, they are seldom dirty, but it is better for them to prepare a "wall" for games.

Moulting is a big problem for the owners of this breed. Often comb out the cat with soft rubber or bristled brushes. On water procedures aristocratic persons are not too located, but once in several months, bathing is necessary for the prevention of skin diseases. Then wool is best dried with a hair dryer and a brush. As a food choose a mix of meat food (turkey, chicken, beef) with rice and vegetables. Sometimes it is worth giving the pet wheat, oats, catnip, parsley.

At first glance, the British blue or any other coloring of the cat on the description of the breed may seem too proud and mannered, not allowing itself, but in practice it is not so.
