Interior and exterior
The church of St. Philip Neri was built in the distant 1800. Its construction lasted five years. The basis of the building was a snow-white limestone stone, which was brought under the order from one of the hills of Bolivia. The construction of the temple fell on the colonial era, so on the facade of the building you can see elements of the style of baroque and neoclassicism. In addition, on its walls are various frescoes and statues, among which the most valuable is the bas-relief of Saint Philip Neri himself.
It is impossible not to notice the colonial towers of the temple. They are underlined golden brown and proudly visible above the church building itself. The interior of the temple is rather unusual, and its highlight is the snow-white bas-reliefs and arches, which are located on the ground floors. On the territory of the sights there are 4 altars, which are decorated with a stunning fresco, dated to the XVIII century. The patterns of the altars are located on a white stone, which adds to them sophistication and attractiveness.
In addition to the altars, in the building of the church of St. Philip Neri you can see the ancient fountain, which functions from the moment the building was erected. Naturally, it was slightly reconstructed from those times, but still retained its original stylistic coloring. On the territory of the temple you can find a small terrace and admire the amazing scenery of the area. For convenience, on the terrace there are stone chairs and tables, which have been standing for more than one century.

You can get to St. Philip Neri Church in Sucre by taxi or by private car. After choosing the second type of movement, go along Nicolas Ortiz street to the intersection with Colon Street. Just 200 m from the intersection and is one of the main attractions of the city.
