Fill each can about "on the shoulders." Cover it with a sterile lid and roll it up. Immediately turn the jar, cover with a warm blanket and leave in this form to cool. This takes, as a rule, at least 12 hours. This wrapping replaces the laborious process of sterilization. When the compote has completely cooled down, we remove the jars for storage in any cool place.

Bring it to a boil, add sugar, as soon as the syrup boils, add citric acid and again pour the resulting liquid into the jars with berries. Immediately cover them with sterile lids, roll them up and turn them upside down so that the lids fit well.
