Exercises after a stroke

Stroke is an indescribable misfortune for both the patient and his entire family. However, the lost functions can be returned, most importantly, to find in oneself moral forces. Exercises after a stroke can begin to be done already from the 3rd day after the event. The complex of exercises after a stroke is appointed depending on which part of the brain was affected. And the first stage of physical exercises after a stroke is always passive - gymnastics are performed lying down, sitting, or it can be just exercises for facial muscles of the face.

Exercises

  1. IP - standing, legs together. The hands are closed in the lock at the level of the chest, raise the exhalation of the joint hands over the head, then in the inspiration we lower to the position in front of the chest. We perform 5 times.
  2. After the previous exercise, we lower the closed straightened arms downwards, on exhalation we lift horizontally before a breast. At the inspiration we lower it to the FE. We perform 5 times.
  3. Hands behind his back in the lock. On exhalation we raise them as high as possible, without bending forward. We perform 5 times.
  4. Hands are lowered behind the back, on exhalation we lift hands along a back, bending thus them in elbows. At the inspiration we lower it to the FE. We perform 5 times.
  5. Hands relax.
  6. We raise arms outstretched above our head, on exhalation we lean forward, hands stretch to the floor. We return to the FE - standing on the legs with relaxed hands. Repeat 5 times.
  7. Hands on the belt, raise your right arm up and lean to the side. We alternate the slopes on both hands.
  8. IP - hands on the waist, on exhalation, we tilt back, we widely breed hands. On inhalation we return to the IP and repeat 5 times.
  9. Hands in front of him, bent at the elbows, hands in fists. We reduce and divide the scapula into two accounts.
  10. The mahi's hands are circular alternately. First forward, then back.
  11. Simultaneous flips with both hands forward and backward.
  12. Hands relaxed.
  13. Hands in front of him, brushes in cams. We spread hands on the sides.
  14. We drop hands with clenched fists at the level of the hips, raise to the level of the shoulders through the sides.
  15. The legs are wider than the shoulders, we lower the head down, then we relax the shoulder girdle and arms, rounding the back. We transfer the weight of the body to the right leg and tear off the left heel, fix it, then transfer the weight of the body to the left heel. We repeat, as much as possible relaxing the body.
