But, unfortunately, summer and the time of flowering is not eternal. And even in such hot places of the globe as the African or Indian jungle, there is a break in flowering, what can we say about countries with a temperate and cold climate. But we are women, and therefore we will always find a way out and will be able to decorate the world around us. Than? Yes, at least flowers from a plastic bottle. Of course, this is far from the same as flowers alive, but if you put your imagination, they can become a real masterpiece. So, let's begin.

Flowers from a plastic bottle: how to make them?

But before starting to work, let's think about where we will put our flowers from plastic bottles. After all, depending on their location, the shape, size and color of the future product will be selected.

Flowers from a plastic bottle as a New Year's garland

To make flowers from plastic bottles for a future garland, we need scissors, a soft pencil, a centimeter, an old, but working Christmas garland, a narrow tape and, of course, plastic bottles.

From each bottle cut off the top in the place where it turns from roundness to the middle straight wall of the bottle. We measure the circumference of this cut with the centimeter and divide it into 5, 6 or 7 equal parts, at each place we put a point in pencil. Then, using scissors from the penciled points, make even cuts from the wide hole to the neck, not cutting it a little. We already have petals. Give each of them a rounded shape and straighten outward. The cork from the neck is twisted, place one of the bulbs of the garland in the opened hole and fix it with adhesive tape. Here is one flower and ready. Make the same colors for all the lights. If desired, the flowers can be pasted with multicolored paper or foil.

Flowers from bottles for a garden

You can make flowers from plastic bottles for a winter or autumn garden. But unlike the first option for the flower, the whole bottle will go here except for its bottom.

So, from the bottom we retreat a couple of centimeters and cut it evenly. Next, the resulting circle is divided into 5-6 petals and we draw smooth lines from these points of division almost to the very neck. On these lines we cut the bottle into petals. Each petal, as in the first case, we give a rounded edge and bend them outward. Corks in this case do not have to be removed. Ready-made flowers can be colored and placed in the recesses of the columns of the garden fence.

Making flowers from plastic bottles as a souvenir

But how to make a flower from a bottle that can be presented to someone as a gift or a souvenir. The top, that is, the corolla, we make the flower in the same way as the flower for the garland. Then we build sepals. To do this, step back from the bottom up the bottle wall 3-5 cm, gently cut it and divide the circle into 7 identical parts. The points marked in this way become the vertices of the leaves. From each point obliquely to the bottom we draw the lines, and then cut out the triangles. Turn the workpiece upside down so that the leaves look down, in the center of the bottom we cut out a hole. We put this hole in the neck of the bottle and twist the lid. It remains only to put our flower on the stem and put it on the leaves.

The stem can be made from a stiff thick wire. Simply measure the desired length, bite off it with pliers or pliers and one end into the center of the cork. Leaves for the stem can be built either from colored cardboard, or from a suitable material in color, or from the remaining straight walls of the bottle. Just draw them, and then cut and attach to the stem. Such a flower can be put in a vase on a dressing table or presented to a friend.

As you can see, handmade flowers made of plastic bottles are very fascinating. Fantasize, and you will definitely get something of your own.
