Correctly cooked herring fordshmak - quite a suitable dish for a festive table, they can, for example, spread sandwiches. How to cook Forshmak? From the herring, the best fat salted fish of good salting is best, not salted and, of course, the rest of the products should also be fresh.

How to prepare forschmak? First, the herring is gutted, washed and cut into fillets. We will soak this fillet in milk for 2-4 hours. From slices of bread we shall cut a crust. Soak the bread crumb with boiled water. We'll clean the apple and cut into slices. Cut the fillets of the herring slices. We'll clean the onions. Now we need a meat grinder, or better - a blender or food processor. All crushed and mixed. Press the bread crumb and add to the rest of the ingredients, mix again thoroughly. Season with pepper, sugar, dry spices to taste, add melted butter. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir again, and you can put in prepared elongated plates in the form of fish (you can decorate with lemon slices and olives) or smeared on slices of bread (preferably rye) over a layer of butter or just. Garnish with greenery. Let's cool it. A wonderful appetizer for white table wine, gin or strong berry tinctures is ready.

Forshmack with cheese

You can cook foreshmak with melted cheese, it turns out, too, quite tasty.

Herring is divided into fillets and soaked in milk for 2-4 hours. Remove the seeds and the core of the apple. Boil the egg, lightly cool and clean. Clear the bulb. With slices of a loaf we shall cut a crust and we shall wet for a short while in boiled water, and then we will squeeze. All the prepared products are passed through a meat grinder or processed with a blender. Mix sugar, olive oil and lemon juice. Add to the total mass. Season with pepper and other dry spices. Thoroughly mix and place for an hour in the refrigerator. On the bottom of the tartlet (or on a slice of a loaf) we squeeze out a little of the melted cheese from a tube. Wet hands with water or grease with vegetable oil, roll balls from forshmak and put them into tartlets. Well, or spread the forshmak on a slice over the melted cheese. On top, lay out the olive (or half of the olive). We decorate with greenery.

Forshmack with potatoes

We make herring on fillets and soak in cold boiled water or in milk. We pass through a meat grinder or processed in a blender fillet of herring, raw onions and boiled potatoes, boiled egg.
