Usually, before the New Year everyone decorates the house, but someone manages only the decoration of the tree , and someone thrillsly brings a festive atmosphere to each room. I propose to make a small hand-made article - a Christmas tree with your own hands, which can be hung on handles of doors or windows, chandelier, on hanging lockers, on household appliances, even on a mirror in the car, well, however, for anything!
The handmade "New Year's tree of felt with her own hands"
To create a Christmas tree, we need:
- felt green, although for this suspension you can choose any color felt;
- fabric, small cuts of fabric of any colors will approach;
- beads, you can take not only beads, but also larger beads;
- Threads are white and in the tone of felt;
- filler, it is not necessary to buy filler in the store. Take what is at home - cotton wool, groats, coffee beans;
- satin ribbon or rope;
- large beads;
- scissors.
Performance:
- First of all, print out the pattern of the Christmas tree or draw it yourself.
- Cut out a pattern from paper, apply it to the fabric and outline.
- Cut out the Christmas tree from the fabric along the contour, apply it to the felt and sew. You can knock together with needles so that the fabric does not move out when sewing. From the bottom we leave the place not sewn.
- Through a non-sewn hole, fill the Christmas tree with a filler, you can lightly fill it up to give it a small volume, and you can fill it up and tightly, as in my case.
- The hole is stitched, we cut off the extra felt with a small allowance from the edge of the fabric fir-tree.
- Now proceed to decorating the Christmas tree-pendant. I decided to make a garland of beads. For this I took the thread, fixed it from above, then strung the beads. I fixed the thread on the other side, again threaded the beads. So you can do many tiers, I did only three.
- The next step is to sew a satin ribbon, for which the Christmas tree will be hung. I decided to sew another layer of felt. This stage in principle can not be done, it's enough to sew the tape to the suspension.
- We put a bead on the ribbon - that's the fake of the Christmas tree with our own hands is ready.
