Creating a museum

The unique museum of Purna Bhakti Pertivi is dedicated to the second Indonesian President Haji Muhammad Sukarto, who ruled the country for 32 years from 1967 to 1998, and is still very beloved and honored by the Indonesian people. The initiative to build a museum of private collections of the president belongs to his wife, Ms. Tian Sukarto, who dedicated him to the god, Indonesians and the world community, who supported the president at the beginning of his journey.

The construction of buildings began in 1987 and continued until 1992. On August 23, 1993, the museum was inaugurated in the presence of Hadji Muhammad Sukarto himself. During the long time of the reign of the second president, who had great power and influence in the region, an extensive collection of precious gifts was presented, which was presented by foreign delegations, ministers and the people who always loved him.
