The fruits of pepper "Bogatyr" differ remarkable qualities. The weight of one fetus is 100-200 grams, the thickness of the walls is 5-7 mm. Cone-shaped peppers have a ribbed surface. Color of fruits that have reached technical maturity, tender green, and biological ripeness - rich red. Ripe pepper has a great taste and contains a significant amount of vitamin C. "Bogatyr" is suitable, as for consumption in fresh food, cooking salads, vegetable stews, etc., and for canning.

Vegetables appreciate the grade of Bulgarian pepper "Bogatyr" for the peerlessness of the peppers, that is, all fruits harvested in the same crop have the same size and shape, as the people say, "one to one." The undeniable advantages of the variety are its good resistance to diseases and fungal infections, including to vertical wilt, as well as cold resistance. Peculiarities of growing pepper "Bogatyr"

When growing seedlings seeds are sown in late February - early March in boxes or pots. Pepper is preferable for light, loose soils with a neutral reaction. Pre-seed is treated with a slightly pink solution of potassium permanganate and washed with water. The depth of seed laying is minimal - not deeper than 1 cm. The boxes are covered with cellophane or glass and placed in a rather warm place. Seedlings are planted in the open ground, after two and a half months, when the danger of frost on the ground passes, and the earth warms up sufficiently. The bushes are planted according to the scheme of 40x60 cm. Often in areas with a milder climate and early establishment of a stable warm spring weather, it is practiced to sow directly in the soil in early May.

Like all kinds of pepper, "Bogatyr" is extremely demanding for the moisture of the soil, it needs light in large quantities. Agrotechnics are recommended to fertilize crops with complex fertilizers. Full-fledged care for peppers includes timely weeding and loosening of the land.
