How to plant fruit trees in autumn?

Planting pit for the future planting of the seedling should be prepared in advance, for several months. This is due to the fact that the land in it must have time to settle. Dimensions of landing holes should be approximately 50-60 centimeters in diameter and 60-80 centimeters in depth. If the soils are clayey and heavy, it is better to make a pit of larger diameter and shallower depth.

Before digging the pit, it is necessary to remove the top fertile layer of the earth and put it side by side, not mixing with the rest of the soil. It will be needed when you mix organic and mineral fertilizers in the pit. At this stage it will be necessary to return the removed land to the pit.

As organic material when planting fruit trees in autumn, the manure and compost are used. You will need about 15-30 kg per pit. Organics must be well reborn. Mineral as well fertilizers are selected individually for each tree.

At the seedling, before the planting, the broken branches are removed, but the roots are not touched (only unhealthy ones can be removed). Before planting it is necessary to lower the roots of the seedlings in the chattle (clay with water in the consistency of sour cream). The open root system should be wrapped with a wet burlap and several layers of a newspaper and left for a few days.

It is advisable to plant seedlings in the same position to the sides of the world in which they grew in the nursery. Installing the seedling in the prepared pit, sprinkle it and trample it well, and after - water abundantly with water.
