Quang Si is one of the most famous natural attractions of Laos , a four-cascade waist-deep waterfall, whose maximum height is 54 m. There is the Quang Si waterfall less than 30 km from Luang Prabang , the administrative center in the north of Laos (now called Luang Prabang). How to get to Quang Si?
To get to the waterfall from Luang Prabang , you can hire a tuk-tuk. It will cost 150-200 thousand kip, which corresponds to the equivalent of $ 18-25. The main disadvantage of this mode of transportation can be called the fact that during the winter the trip will be simply uncomfortable.
You can go to the waterfall and a minivan or a minibus, where different companies take tourists there. Usually, a round trip with a full car load costs 45,000 kip (about $ 5.5). Such tourist minivans take tourists directly to the waterfall, wait there for 3 hours, and then drive back - everyone to his hotel .
