Quay of Serkular Ki


On the north side of the central business district of Sydney is the embankment of Serkular Ki, which used to be called the "Semicircular Embankment". It really has a curved shape, so the name is completely justified. But over the years, the local people reduced it, so today it is known to tourists under the name "Serkular Ki."

Initially, the embankment was used for navigation and for her for many years there were more than twenty tram routes. They walked from the Central Station, so with this affordable transport it was possible to come to the embankment from virtually anywhere in the city. By the way, in 1861 on Serkular Ki was the first tram on horse traction, which makes this place even more legendary.

Quay of Serkular Ki is located between Cape Bennelong Point and the Rocks area , so the place is incredibly picturesque. And if you want to go first turn to visit Justice & Police Museum, then you should use the routes №301, 302, 303, 377, 507, 515, М52 and Х03.
