International Airport Alfredo Rodriguez Balloon (Rodriguez Ballon International Airport) is located in Peru in the city of Arequipa , in the Zamacola area. The airport is of interest because it is located at an altitude of 2,560 meters above sea level and is the second largest number of passengers transported after the airport in Cuzco . A bit of history
August 15, 1979 in Arequipa opened a new terminal, this was due to the rapid development of the city and the need for trade. The building was built in modern Peruvian style, had 2 floors and an area of almost 4400 sq. M. m, on the second floor was made a balcony so that tourists could view the volcano Misty from a height.
