Preparation

How to cook Swedish meatballs? We take fresh meat, carefully sorted, removing all the bones and films, thoroughly rinsed. Then we chop the beef with a meat grinder, several times to make the stuffing softer and more homogeneous.

Then we soak in a cream a piece of stale white loaf or bread, and then also pass through a meat grinder and combine with minced meat.

Onion is peeled from the husk and finely chopped. Then put it in a frying pan and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. We add egg, salt, onion, pepper and nutmeg to the meat stuffing - to taste. Mix the forcemeat, diluting it a little with cream. In the end, you should get a soft, but dense meat mass, so that when frying Swedish meatballs do not fall apart.

Now we begin to sculpt the balls. We put a plate next to the water, and with wet hands roll balls, about the size of a walnut. When all the meatballs are formed, pour the vegetable oil into a frying pan, warm it up and lay out the meat balls. Fry the meatballs over medium heat for a few minutes, and then turn the fork to the other side with a fork.
