The Maritime Museum of Brunei


As in any coastal country, in Brunei, people have long built new cities, developed economies and trade relations with neighboring countries, but also showed an active interest in the conquest of the enticing and recalcitrant sea. The roof resembles a beautiful multi-level deck, the side facade has a rounded shape of the stern, the outer trim is made of slabs simulating a tree - the material from which all ships used to be built. The building has very few windows, most of them are decorated in the form of small cabin windows.

How to get there?

The Maritime Museum of Brunei is located in the southeast of the capital, in the Kota Batu area, almost on the banks of the Brunei River . You can get here from the airport by car in 25-30 minutes. The most convenient way to do this is by leaving Jalan Perdana Menteri, and then turning to Kebangsaan Rd. Moving east along the coast, you will soon get to Kota Batu.
