Luteinizing hormone (LH) belongs to gonadotropic hormones, which is synthesized by the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland. It is this hormone that stimulates the production of estrogens in the female body, and regulates the secretion of progesterone and takes a direct part in the formation of the yellow body.
Such an analysis for female sex hormones is prescribed when:
- decreased libido;
- amenorrhea;
- infertility;
- endometriosis;
- miscarriage;
- a syndrome of polycystic ovaries;
- sexual infantilism.
Also, often such an analysis is assigned to determine the effectiveness of hormone therapy.

Progesterone prepares the preparation of the uterine endometrium, which allows the fertilized egg to be implanted.

The analysis is carried out on the 22-23 day of the menstrual cycle of a woman, with the direct blood sampling carried out in the morning, on an empty stomach. In those cases when the girl does not get a test in the morning, the fence can be performed in the daytime, but not earlier than 6 hours after eating.
The values of the level of this hormone are different: 0,32-2,23 nmol / l - in the follicular phase and 6,99-56,63, - in the luteal.
What is the purpose of the analysis of prolactin in the body?
The hormone prolactin takes a direct part in the process of formation and development of the mammary glands, as well as stimulates the formation of milk in them during lactation.

- mastopathy ;
- violation of ovulation and its absence;
- absence of monthly;
- diagnosis of infertility;

Before taking the test, for 1 day, a woman should exclude sexual contact, as well as thermal effects on the body (sauna, sauna). In addition, the level of the hormone prolactin in the blood is directly influenced by stressful situations.
