Arrangement "Squirrel" of cones

Crafts from cones are striking in a variety of designs, because from this improvised material you can create both very complex compositions, and extremely simple, which even a child can cope with. It is a simple and surprisingly elegant idea that we will consider in the master class "Squirrel Squirrel". This craft can be collected in 20 minutes, if you prepare all the necessary materials in advance.

For work you will need:

  1. To begin with, we will pick up a cone of medium size. It should be dense enough and have a rounded shape, so that the make-up of the protein from the cone is puzatenka and cute. It is important to make sure that insects do not live in the cone found and that it has dried out well, otherwise the craft will quickly lose its outward attractiveness. The first step is to connect the squirrel body with the head. Choose a pompom that will match the cone size (in this case, the diameter is 2.5 cm) and glue it to the top.
  2. When the glue dries, and the head is securely fixed, you can start creating a muzzle. Glue the eyes and nose. A squirrel made of pine cones, made by hand, will turn out to be especially amusing if you look for moving eyes, but they are quite suitable for simple plastic or even paper. A small black pompomchik, suitable for the size (in the submitted master class, the diameter of the smaller pompon is 0.5 cm) will serve as a nasik.
  3. Now the protein from the cone will become the owner of charming ears. To do this, take a smooth chenille wire and cut 2 pieces each 2.5 cm in length. Each piece is folded with a sharp corner to get a V-shape, and glue the top of the squirrel. With the material for the ears, you can experiment and use, for example, felt fabric or oilcloth.
  4. Now we turn to the formation of a fluffy tail of squirrel. To do this, you need already a curly chenille wire. We cut off two fragments, in each of which the oval figure is repeated twice, each of the segments is bent in the middle, the ends of the base are twisted together.
  5. Next, twist the part of the chenille wire to the bump and glue the tail and give it a squirrel shape. For example, coquettishly bend the tip of the raised tail down, and at the bottom we make a deflection.
  6. The turn of the hind legs of the squirrel came. Again, take a smooth chenille wire, this time cut pieces of about 5 cm each, bend a smooth line and glued in front of the bump.
  7. For the front legs also take two pieces of smooth chenille wire length of 4-5 cm and each glue only one end to the body of the protein from the cone. With a beautiful line, bend the paws-handles forward.
  8. There was a finishing touch - to please with our delicacy our squirrel, we will place an acorn in her paws. You can find a real acorn, and you can make it yourself with your own hands. We take a large wooden bead, pass into the hole and glue a piece of chenille smooth wire. We wrap the wire around the top of the bead, paste the homemade acorn into the paws of the squirrel and admire the result.

Such protein from cones is an odd job, which will not take much time, but it will bring a lot of pleasure. Fantasize, creating a whole family of fluffy forest animals, bears, hedgehogs , owls , invent them jewelry in the form of vests or bows and settle them in your own house!
